which Xiaomi models are compatible with VoNR?
Logically being a function that only works on 5G networksif the 5G network is not supported, we can discard all Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco models that do not have this network.
But in addition, not all models are compatible with this new feature. Mainly Xiaomi models compatible with VoNR are phones with processors Snapdragon 865, 870, 888 or higher. Some more specific users with processors Mediatek can also use VoNR with Miui and this list will be expanded with new releases.

My phone supports VoNR, but how do I activate VoNR?
This function is present since “recently” in Xiaomi and Miui. Specifically since version 21.4.16 of the Beta version of Miui 12.5 and is disabled by default and hidden.
To activate the VoNR function on any Xiaomi Android phone, we just need to go to the call application and dial the following wildcard:
*#*#8667#*#*After doing this step, we will get a message that VoNR has been activated and now we go to the settings/sim cards and mobile networks/ and click on the SIM that we have 5G and below you will see the option to use VoNRsimply activate it and that’s it!
This new function, will continue to be extended to more phones over timethis year, 2021, being a starting line for many Redmi, Poco and Xiaomi phones, this feature will soon be more accessible and enabled by default.
