In this way, when you need to submit a document, sign any instance digitally, consult your citizen mailbox or even consult your fiscal data for the next income statement, you can do it easily from your smartphone.
Managing a digital certificate is not always easy, as you know, not even from the computer. Therefore, arm yourself with patience to do it from the mobile and follow these steps that we indicate below.
Steps to import digital certificates on mobile
The procedure to import a digital certificate to your mobile is different as you have an Android or iPhone device.
In Android
– The first step is to export the digital certificate creating a backup with password. This must be done on the computer where you have the certificate installed. The backup you must save it in .pfx O.P12.
– Then you must send the document in .pfx or .p12 format, to your Android phone, you can do it through WhatsApp, email, telegram or by means of a USB cable. It is recommended that you keep the file outside all the folders of the mobile system so that you have it by hand and do not miss.
– Now, enter the “adjustments” of the mobile, move down and select “security and privacy.”
– A new menu will open, lower the cursor and click “greater security and privacy.”
– Read to this point, go at the end of the options menu and oppress “encryption and credentials.”
– Choose “install a certificate” to perform the installation from the storage, that is, from the location where you saved the .pfx or .p12 file of the certificate in question.
– Finally, squeeze the option «Cert. From APP and VPN user », choose the file, write the password, create a name and select a security protocol. This will be enough to have the digital certificate on Android available to use it in any procedure you need.
In iOS
To import the certificate on your iPhone follow these indications:
– As in Android, you must export the digital certificate (PFX/P12 format) creating a password backup. Then send it to the iPhone through the medium you prefer and save the file in the Icloud folder.
– Now, to locate the certificate, enter the “files” app and touch the document to open it. If the system asks where you want to install it, choose “iPhone.”
– Go to “adjustments” and, in the upper menu, exactly under your name, oppress “downloaded profile” and choose “install.”
– Write the password of your iPhone, a warning will be “squeeze” and confirm the action by pressing again “install.”
– Add the key to the digital certificate, oppress “next” and touch “ok.”
