Instagram blends are a new function that allows two users to discover new Reels together interactively.
Surely you are used to sharing a reel that you like with a friend, but thanks to this new function it will no longer be necessary, you can do everything within the social network.
With the blends, both will have a personalized reels feed with content that could be liking both. This Feed is shown in the Instant Instagram messaging section, in the chat you have with your friend. The more you interact with him, the more successful the recommendations of the Instagram algorithm for the common reels will be.
How to use Instagram blends
Blends are a new function that is already being displayed for all Instagram users worldwide, but is at the time of trial.
To be able to use them, you must update the Instagram application for Android or to iOS to its latest version, which will be available on Google Play Store or App Store if you have not yet downloaded the last package.
Once the application is updated, you will have to wait for Instagram to activate the blends in your account, which will happen for all users in a gradual way in the coming weeks. When you have active blends, do the following:
– Enter Instagram and enter the chat section of your profile (icon that is at the upper right angle).
– Touch a chat where you want to enable the blend and press the icon in the upper right corner (it is to the left of the phone icon).
– The platform will explain everything you can do with the blends, press “Invite.”
– When your contact accepts the invitation, oppress the “Go to Blend” button.
– Now, you will see the suggested reels for you and the other user to begin to interact.
That is all you should do to use Blends on Instagram. However, if the function is not yet available in your app despite having updated it, do not worry, since the function is in the test phase and at the moment they can only use a small group of users.
